Our Team

Kübra Kurtoğlu is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Yeditepe University. She practises in Istanbul as an independent attorney and mediator and is registered with the Berlin Bar Association as a lawyer advising on Turkish law and international law. She provides legal advice to individual and corporate clients operating between Turkey and Germany in various fields, in particular commercial law, corporate law, international contracts and immigration law. In addition to Turkish, she speaks English and German.

Fatma Yiğen Patır is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Istanbul University. She practises in Istanbul as an independent attorney and mediator. She provides legal advice to individual and corporate clients and works in various fields of law, commercial law in particular. Serving on the board of the Progressive Lawyers’ Association (Çağdaş Hukukçular Derneği), she takes an active role in professional and civil society activities.

Kübra Ekmen is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Istanbul University. She practises in Ankara as an independent attorney and mediator. She advises individual and corporate clients in various fields of law, working in particular on commercial disputes and private law. Alongside her professional practice, she takes an active role in various civil society organisations. She speaks English and Greek at an advanced level and Italian at an intermediate level.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Marmara University in 2008. She completed a master’s degree in Human Rights Law at the Institute of Social Sciences of Istanbul Bilgi University and earned her doctorate at the Institute of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Department of Social Sciences. Serving as a lecturer and Coordinator of Law Clinics at the Faculty of Law of Özyeğin University, Demir works on social responsibility, access to justice and practice-based models of legal education.

Ramazan Demir is an attorney registered with the Istanbul Bar Association. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Istanbul University. He completed master’s studies in Human Rights Law at Istanbul Bilgi University and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He works in the fields of international human rights law, criminal law and European law. He is an honorary member of the Paris Bar Association and has received international awards from the CCBE, the Paris Bar Association and the International Bar Association (IBA) for his work in the field of human rights.

Legal Counsel & Attorney (Istanbul Bar Association, Reg. No. 1-35899 | Member of the Hamburg Bar Association). Elif Çatana, who began her legal career in Turkey and has 20 years of professional experience, is an attorney registered with both the Istanbul Bar Association and the Hamburg Bar Association. Throughout her career she practised law at prestigious institutions and corporations such as Pekin & Pekin, Société Générale S.A. Paris (Turkey Head Office) and Borsa Istanbul (BİAS); in addition to the law firm she co-founded, she served as Head of Legal and Member of the Board of Directors at Pay Menkul Değerler A.Ş. She has in-depth expertise in corporate law, commercial contracts, corporate governance and international legal proceedings. Having personally experienced cross-border legal processes after settling in Hamburg, she now uses her knowledge and experience to develop solutions for the legal needs of Turkish citizens and businesses living in Germany.
