When the site is accessed, our hosting provider automatically processes the IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type in log files to ensure technical security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). Logs are deleted promptly and are not combined with other data.
We use strictly necessary storage for your language choice and to document your consent (§ 25(2) TDDDG). Statistics cookies and external content (e.g. Google Maps) are loaded only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw or change your selection at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
Data submitted via our forms (name, email, phone, country, message) is processed to answer your request and to carry out pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is deleted when the purpose lapses and statutory retention periods have expired. You are not required to provide anything beyond the mandatory fields.
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, your contact data is stored to process the matter. When using WhatsApp, data may be transferred via WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta platforms; using this channel is your choice.
The map on our contact page loads from Google LLC servers only after you click "Load map"; your IP address is then transmitted to Google and data may be transferred to the USA (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR — explicit consent). Without consent, no map is loaded.
Fonts are served from our own server; no connection is made to third-party font services such as Google Fonts.
Analytics tools run only with your consent (see section 3). Without consent, no analytics cookies are set.
Under Art. 15–21 GDPR and Art. 11 KVKK you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn with effect for the future. Please direct requests to info@kurtoglulaw.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Berlin: the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information; in Turkey: the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
This notice will be updated as legislation or our services change.
